Next, progressively shrink the disks and the spacing. | |
Finally, rotate each disk further about the first one. | |
If we bring the disks together closely enough, they will show white instead of black at their overlap. | |
When brought together even more tightly, we see the general coring rule. The disks appear black where the number of overlapping rings is odd and white where even. |
